The Echo Boost Fresh is a fast-action freshwater fly rod for anglers with an aggressive casting stroke who want maximum line speed. It builds on Echo's original Boost series: the rods have shed some weight, and the actions have been refined so you can feel the rod load even at that pace.

Echo makes the blank from a blend of intermediate modulus graphite fibers, chosen for strength and performance at an affordable price. The green blank carries bright green BOOST FRESH graphics, with a reversed half wells cork grip and a black anodized aluminum uplocking reel seat. Every model is 4-piece, and we carry all four Echo makes: an 8' 4 wt and 9' 4, 5 and 6 wt.

Boost Fresh vs Other Echo Rods

On Echo's action and power chart the Boost Fresh is fast action and high power, sitting just below its saltwater sibling, the Echo Boost Blue. If the rod breaks in normal fishing use, Echo repairs or replaces it for a service fee that varies by model, and the fee is waived if the cause turns out to be a defect.
