Overview
The Patagonia Men's Swiftcurrent® Expedition Zip-Front Waders are Patagonia's toughest all-season wader, the one to choose when you fish cold water, swing for winter steelhead or wade the surf. The 4-layer H2No® Performance Standard shell pairs a light 5.6-oz upper with a tough 9.4-oz lower, both 100% recycled, so you get durability where waders wear out first without carrying extra bulk up top. A submersible YKK® front zipper makes layering and bathroom breaks easy.
Expedition or Traverse? If most of your days are spring through fall and you hike in, the lighter Swiftcurrent Traverse Zip Front saves weight and money. If you kneel on rock, bust brush or fish through winter, the Expedition's heavier lower legs, removable foam kneepads and extra pockets earn their keep.
Two vertical zip chest pockets take fly boxes, with two zip handwarmer pockets, a tool dock and a low-profile net loop at the back. Quick-release suspenders, a top-hem drawcord and the included Secure Stretch wading belt convert it to waist-high.
