Overview

The Orvis PractiCaster is a 36-inch practice fly rod that lets you work on your casting anywhere, indoors or out, without a full-size rod or a stretch of water. A short one-piece rod with a cork grip and a soft yarn line means you can practice loops, timing and accuracy in a living room, a hallway or the backyard.

It comes with a green practice line tipped with an orange yarn fly, three hook-and-loop trout targets, and instructions for casting games. It is a fun way to introduce kids and first-time anglers to fly casting, and a handy way for experienced anglers to keep their stroke sharp through the off season.
