Overview

The Dyna-King Excalibur is Dyna-King's top-of-the-line rotary vise. Both the stem and the vise body adjust through 360°, and the whole clamp tube rotates freely, so you can see the back of the fly as you wrap. It has 8 adjustment positions for different tying angles, an adjustable bobbin mount, and a 90° handle for controlled rotation on ribbing, floss, wire and salmon fly bodies.

This version comes on a pedestal base that sits on any table, so you do not need an edge to clamp to.

Which Dyna-King is right for you? The Kingfisher is the simple, compact starter vise. The Trekker is a lighter, lower-priced true rotary vise that holds the same hooks as the Barracuda. The Barracuda Deluxe is Dyna-King's classic rotary vise, and the Ultimate Indexer adds 8 click-stop positions for epoxy flies.
