The Lamson Guru Rod & Reel Outfit pairs a Guru fly rod with Lamson's CNC machined Guru X reel in the matching size, already loaded with dacron backing, a US made Scientific Anglers weight forward floating fly line built specifically for the Guru rod, with a welded loop, and a mono leader. It comes dialed in from the factory and packs into a Cordura case that protects both the rod and the reel, so the outfit is ready to fish and ready to travel.

Every Guru rod is a 9' 4-piece with a medium-fast action that Lamson calls suitable for beginners and experts alike, with a forgiving feel that still gives accuracy and control. The rod has a Modified Ritz cork grip, Lamson's Lockdown reel seat with a storm grey anodized aluminum insert, a SiC stripper guide and a satin dark pearl finish with storm grey accents. The Guru X reel is US Made, Idaho Built: CNC machined with a sealed conical drag, a large arbor and reversible retrieve, and comes in Halo. We carry the 4, 5 and 6 wt.
